Terms of Service
Effective July 15, 2026
These Terms are intentionally direct: Rendition is for commercial property media that can be processed, hosted, shared, and improved using cloud and distributed systems.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Rendition website, the Rendition capture app, hosted 3D tours and viewers, processing systems, and related services (together, "Rendition"). By creating an account, capturing a property, uploading content, activating a paid space, viewing a tour, or otherwise using Rendition, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Rendition for a company, brokerage, agency, property owner, media studio, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Commercial service; no confidential use
Rendition is a commercial property media and spatial processing service. It is intended for listing, marketing, documentation, operational, and other commercial uses where scans and outputs can be publicly processed, displayed, hosted, shared, analyzed, and improved.
Rendition is not a confidential storage system, private vault, regulated-data processor, emergency service, security system, surveying service, legal-record system, insurance-adjustment service, or professional advice service.
3. Public scan license
You grant Rendition a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, fully paid, irrevocable, perpetual license to host, store, copy, transmit, display, publish, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, process, analyze, create derivative works from, train on, use, and otherwise exploit submitted content, capture data, scan metadata, generated outputs, and derived data to provide, operate, market, secure, support, improve, and develop Rendition and related technologies.
This license includes the right to use scans and derived data for reconstruction, AI training, benchmarking, quality evaluation, moderation, search, compression, product analytics, demos, commercial examples, documentation, support, security, and model improvement.
You understand that scan outputs may be public, shareable, indexable, downloadable, cached, backed up, replicated, embedded, viewed by link recipients, processed by distributed systems, and accessed by service providers, contractors, processors, or network operators.
4. Required rights and permissions
You are solely responsible for obtaining all rights, permissions, consents, releases, notices, licenses, and authorizations required to scan, upload, process, publish, share, train on, and commercialize any property, space, object, artwork, fixture, personal property, person, likeness, address, location, image, video, metadata, or other content.
You must not upload content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, tenant, employment, consumer protection, surveillance, export, national security, property access, lease, MLS, brokerage, platform, or other applicable requirements.
5. Distributed processing and global nodes
Captures are processed by a distributed worker fleet operated by or for Stratis (Rendition is powered by Stratis; see stratis.ai). Hosted tours, accounts, and stored data run on Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure. Transactional emails (invitations, tour-ready notices, lead alerts, and usage digests) are sent through a third-party email delivery provider. These systems and their operators may be located in any country or region.
You authorize Rendition and its processors, service providers, infrastructure providers, and Stratis-operated processing nodes to receive, access, transfer, cache, replicate, store, process, inspect, generate, and return scan data and outputs in any jurisdiction.
You are responsible for deciding whether a property, client, listing, jurisdiction, contract, or data category may be processed globally and through distributed infrastructure.
6. User content restrictions
You may not scan, upload, process, or publish illegal content, sexually explicit content, exploitative content, biometric identifiers for identification, medical or financial records, government IDs, confidential documents, access credentials, security codes, sensitive personal information, restricted facilities, weapon designs, trade secrets you are not authorized to disclose, or content involving minors without all required permissions.
You may not use Rendition to stalk, harass, surveil, dox, discriminate, mislead buyers, violate MLS or platform rules, create unlawful deepfakes, infringe third-party rights, bypass security, or interfere with Rendition systems.
7. Accounts and security
You are responsible for account activity, device access, credentials, team members, and uploaded content. You must keep credentials secure and promptly notify Rendition of unauthorized access.
Rendition may suspend or terminate access, remove content, limit processing, revoke links, or disable accounts if we believe use may violate these Terms, law, third-party rights, security requirements, payment obligations, or product integrity.
8. Plans and app-store billing
A "space" is one active, published property listing. Your first active space is free. Each additional active space is billed monthly, at $1 per active space, only for as long as that space stays live; archiving a space stops the billing for that slot and frees it for another listing. There is no separate charge based on how many properties you capture or how much you use the product beyond the per-space subscription described here.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed entirely through in-app purchase in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Rendition does not process payments on the website and has no web checkout. You are asked to set up a subscription the first time you activate a second space; the website shows your plan and usage but never takes a card.
Purchases, renewals, and cancellations are governed by the applicable App Store or Google Play terms in addition to these Terms. Refund requests for app-store purchases are submitted to, and decided by, Apple or Google under their own refund policies — Rendition does not directly issue web refunds because it does not take web payments. Rendition may change the price per active space or the free-space allowance prospectively, consistent with applicable app-store rules and notice requirements.
9. Output quality and availability
Rendition outputs depend on capture quality, lighting, surfaces, reflections, connectivity, device sensors, property layout, processing availability, and third-party systems. Rendition does not guarantee exact dimensions, complete reconstruction, uninterrupted access, permanent hosting, MLS compliance, appraisal suitability, insurance suitability, accessibility compliance, or fitness for any particular transaction.
You are responsible for reviewing tours and outputs before publishing or relying on them.
10. Beta and experimental features
Rendition may provide beta, preview, experimental, or early-access features. These may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, changed, limited, discontinued, or removed at any time.
11. Intellectual property
Rendition and its licensors own the platform, software, models, workflows, code, designs, marks, generated system improvements, and related technology. Except for rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you.
You retain whatever rights you lawfully own in submitted content, subject to the licenses and rights granted to Rendition in these Terms.
12. Disclaimers
Rendition is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rendition disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, uninterrupted service, and error-free operation.
Rendition does not guarantee that content will remain private, confidential, unindexed, unshared, untrained-on, recoverable, exportable, or available after deletion, account closure, link sharing, public access, or distributed processing.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rendition will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, reputational, business interruption, property transaction, listing, buyer, seller, tenant, landlord, brokerage, MLS, or third-party damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rendition's total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid to Rendition for the service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the event.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rendition and its affiliates, processors, network participants, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, scans, properties, permissions, users, customers, listings, outputs, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
15. Changes and termination
Rendition may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using Rendition at any time. Rendition may suspend, limit, or terminate access at any time as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
